Shiron graduated from University of Toronto with an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Since her master’s studies, she has gained years of experience in gene therapy research for various neurological disorders, both in academia and industry.

Executive Team
Yosuke is a senior research associate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Toronto with deep expertise in neuroscience, gene therapy, and bioinformatics.
Luca is a PhD candidate in Cells and Systems Biology at the University of Toronto and applies machine learning to regulatory element design. He is an expert in Python programming and his passion for bioinformatics led to the development of a machine-learning algorithm to design regulatory elements.
Program Management
Yewon studied Economics, Statistics, and Computer Science at the University of Toronto. She brings a multidisciplinary background spanning analytics, growth, and research, with previous experience in growth marketing and machine learning research. At Re:Pair Genomics, she works across strategy, operations, partnerships, and product execution.
Business Development
Abena studied economics at the University of Toronto and is completing graduate studies in banking and finance at Queen Mary University of London. She has previous experience working with a student-led club that later became a registered charity. She is committed to supporting initiatives that better the lives of others.
Alessia Huma is a Master of Health Informatics candidate at the University of Toronto with a background in Life Sciences. Her experience supporting clinical system implementations and health system strategy initiatives has shaped her passion for using data and technology to enhance patient outcomes, improve healthcare system efficiency, and drive faster innovation in delivering care.

Brandon serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and contributes psychology expertise to the scientific advisory board.
David is a Professor at the University of Toronto with extensive academic and research experience in pharmacology and toxicology.
Iva is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and serves as a key member of Re:Pair's scientific advisory team.
